Giving Sweets A Good Name

Giving Sweets A Good Name

Another great find on our "free from" journey has got to be the fabulous sweets available from Goody Good Stuff.

Goody Good Stuff is an all-new natural, meat-free, gummy candy range that is made with a plant derived bio-gum technology, which eliminates the need for animal-based gelatin, which most traditional gummy candies use. Over the last 15 years, Goody Good Stuff have worked to develop a food technology, which allows them to remove the gelatine from Gummy candies while still producing a deliciously smooth and clear consistency. This makes their product range a first and only of its kind in the market.

In addition, they have taken out all of the artificial colours and flavours and use only natural fruit and vegetable extracts in their range. Finally, they have removed all of the other harmful food additives and possible allergens such as gluten, to create a truly all natural alternative, which is completely allergen free.Goodygoodstuff The entire line is vegetarian, fat-free, meat-free, dairy-free, nut-free, Halal and Kosher certified.

The sweets come in eight different varieties including: Sour Fruit Salad, Tropical Fruit, Strawberry Cream, Koala Gummy Bears, Summer Peaches, Sour Mix & Match, Cheery Cherries and Cola Breeze. We were lucky enough to try a few of the varieties available at the Allergy & Free From Show at Olympia in May and we have to say we loved them! With real fruity flavours and a good texture they had a clean taste that is hard to find in many of the mainstream sweets that are currently available. Not only is Goody Good Stuff great for anyone with a sweet tooth who is on a free from diet, they make a healthier alternative for everyone.

Despite the business being only 3 years old Goody Good Stuff has received awards, nominations and accolades by the plentiful. Most recently the brand won VegSoc Approved Sweet Treat at the Vegetarian Society awards. The brand has also received positive reviews and features from such reputable sources as The Telegraph, BBC News, and The Grocer. For more information visit www.goodygoodstuff.com
