Enjoy Marmalade Season with The East India Company
As marmalade season is upon us, with Marmalade Week running from 1st - 8th March, what better way is there to pay tribute to the British staple than to enjoy a steaming hot cup of tea or coffee, paired with a perfectly toasted and buttery piece of bread - topped off with marmalade.

"Marmalade is an old English favourite and one the lovely people at The East India Company have spruced up. We got the chance to sample a couple of pots from their marmalade range and were delighted at the flavours.
The range includes your staple Fine Cut Seville marmalade, which is great for everyday eating, to the far more indulgent Orange Marmalade with Gold Leaf.
At £3.95 a jar, the Fine Cut Seville marmalade is a perfect example of what orange marmalade should taste like. The flavour comes out immediately, without a waxy, artificial taste and has the tangy bite marmalade is synonymous with.
The Grapefruit and Lime was a firm favourite with all who tried it. The unusual combination caught my eye immediately and it did not disappoint. Despite having two citrus fruits contained within, it was not as sharp as you would expect. A very pleasant flavour with a little decadence in the form of the silver leaf for a reasonable £14.95 - a bit over normal budget but so worth it.
If you're looking for a little luxury on your breakfast table that exceeds what the mainstream supermarkets can provide, these are definitely the way to go.
At £18.95, the Orange Marmalade with Gold Leaf is probably not something you would have every day but would make a wonderful gift or show piece when you have guests.
