Welcome to Day 5 of our Advent - where we are giving you 24 hours to enter for your chance to win an M-Wine of your choice in a Gift Box, a winemakers biography and a gift card from M-Wines.com
M-Wines are the 'dream wines' of talented young winemakers; it's the wine they have always dreamed of but have never had the opportunity to make. Each has the winemakers name on the bottle and a mini-biography telling their story.
Just 1,000 individually numbered bottles of each wine are released - hence 'M' - the Roman numeral for 1,000.
An M-Wine is the opportunity to give or own a genuinely exclusive and premium wine backed up by real personal story, nothing contrived, just a winemakers story and their favourite wine.
M-Wines is the idea of 'local' Dorking based Kiwi Philip Morton.
"In the world of wine I keep meeting winemakers without their own winery, making good wines that were consistent year after year. But the wines were almost made to a formula and winemakers are all 'frustrated artists'. All of them have a pet project - a dream wine. So I had an idea to commission them to make the wine of their choice and put their name on the bottle. We truly believe the quality of the wine comes from good fruit and the total freedom of the winemaker to express themselves. This is showing with all 4 M-Wines recently being rated between 92-93/100 by respected wine writer Tom Cannavan."
