Hassle-free Coq au Vin

Ingredients
- Seb’s Smoked Bacon and Red Wine Sauce x 4 sachets
- 500g chicken portions: breasts, thighs or whole legs
- Light olive oil or sunflower oil for frying
- Chopped parsley (optional) for garnish
Procedure
- Preheat oven to 160C
- Melt your Seb’s sauce in the microwave as instructed on the side of the pack.
- In a heavy casserole pan, heat the oil and then add the chicken to the pan and gently brown on all sides.
- Pour the melted sauce over the chicken.
- Cover with a lid and place in a preheated oven for 30-40 minutes (cooking times may vary dependant on chicken pieces used).
- Serve with smooth mash or lovely new potatoes and a sprinkle of parsley.
- Or if it's feeling more summery try roasted vegetables and a fresh green salad.
