Anzac Biscuits

Anzac Biscuits

Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand - commemorated by both countries on 25th April every year to honour members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.

Anzac biscuits have long been associated with the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) established in World War I.

Traditional biscuits baked by anxious wives and mothers during World War I, packed in food parcels and sent to the Australian soldiers in the trenches.
