Young Drivers Race to the Greenpower National Finals at Goodwood this October
On Sunday 13th October 2013 young drivers and support teams from every corner of the UK will converge on Goodwood Motor Circuit, West Sussex, for this year's Greenpower National Finals.
Thousands of young people will race electric cars that they have designed and built - with the hope of inspiring the engineers of the future.
The highly successful Greenpower challenge to design, build, and race a single seat electric car, is run by the Greenpower Education Trust and provides young people with an unique hands on opportunity to engage in engineering.
About 100 teams of young people from all over the UK will have battled it through the regional heats to earn their place in the Greenpower Finals.
As well as two fiercely-fought endurance races, the 2013 event offers much more entertainment on and off the track than ever before.
The Greenpower Education Trust's vision is to inspire more young people to become engineers.
