Wallace & Gromit's Children's Charity is a national charity, which raises funds to improve the quality of life for children in hospitals and hospices throughout the UK.

This years Wrong Trousers Day celebrates the charity's 11th year of bringing this national fundraising event to support sick children in hospitals and hospices.

Thousands of people from all walks of life pay a pound to swap their normal attire and step out in weird and wacky clothes - or just something plain 'wrong.' Wallace & Gromit Children's Charity

This year the foundation have also added a Football World Cup theme so step out in your favourite team's kit and reach your fundraising goal and on Friday 27th June Wallace & Gromit are urging the nation to join in with the celebrations and take part in the Football World Cup themed Wrong Trousers Day.

Everyone can join in and wear their weirdest, wackiest party trousers and donate just £1 for the right to look wrong. You choose what to wear, your football kit, sports shorts, tutu, hot pants, and chef’s trousers, anything you want all for £1. Who doesn't want to wear the wrong trousers to work or school? It's fun, simple and a great way of raising funds for those who are really in need.

For the fourth year in a row this Wrong Trousers Day will proudly be sponsored by Nutricia. Nutricia specialise in the delivery of advanced medical nutrition for the very young, the old and the sick. This is a cracking partnership and Roger Phillips, Nutricia's Regional Vice President and sponsor of Wrong Trousers Day 2014, says:

Wallace & Gromit's Children's Charity also organises successful fundraising event 'Wallace & Gromit's BIG Bake', in partnership with Homepride in December each year. Over 150,000 people took part in the first BIG Bake in 2013.

Wallace & Gromit's Wrong Trousers Day raises funds for 92 children's hospitals and hospices throughout the UK. Funds raised support projects and causes in local communities such as: art, music, play and sensory therapy; family services; state of the art equipment and child friendly environments.
