Celebrates an evening of 'Chocolat' at Beas of Bloomsbury

As part of this year's Chocolate Week, which will be running from 14th - 20th October 2013, Valrhona Chocolate has teamed up with Bea's of Bloomsbury to bring you 'An Evening of Chocolat'.

As part of Beas of Bloomsbury's ongoing movie nights at Maltby Street, three exclusive screenings of the 2000 film, Chocolat (starring Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp) will be shown - but with an interactive element: viewers will get to experience and taste the chocolates alongside the film's characters.

Entry to the movie will begin at 6.30pm, with a chocolate chilli and cornbread being served. Chocolate Caramel popcorn will also be available.

For the main feature, Andrew Gravett, Valrhona Patissier for Northern Europe will carefully recreate five of the chocolates from the film using a range of Valrhona chocolates.

Just before each chocolate appears in the film, a cue will appear, encouraging viewers to eat the relevant bite sized indulgence.

Viewers will then finish with Johnny Depp's character’s favourite: Hot Chocolate, as well as being given recipes for some of the chocolates featured. There will also be a pop up Valrhona shop so that visitors can purchase further treats from Valrhona's new collection for the journey home.

The 'Chocolat' evenings will be on the 17th, 18th and 19th October at Bea's of Bloomsbury, Maltby Street. Tickets will be £15 per person, and will include entry and food. A selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages will also be on sale.

Tickets will be available from www.beasofbloomsbury.com/events The box office will open on the 1st September 2013.
