On Sunday 5th October, Sussex's luxurious Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club is inviting guests to explore their enchanting woodland during their annual 'Mushroom Forage with Lunch'.

From 10.30am guests will be given the fantastic opportunity to explore Ashdown Park's renowned woodland with the hotel's Fungi expert and long-standing Estate Manager, Kevin Sweet. Kevin will help identify the best, and safest, mushrooms to pick, which the hotel's talented team of chefs will transform into a delicious lunch.

After a busy morning of foraging, guests will be able to enjoy a refreshing pre-lunch drink followed by a delicious three course, mushroom-inspired lunch including foraged mushroom tart, homemade truffle Scotch egg, juicy roasted corn fed chicken, sumptuous crispy potatoes, confit pancetta and celeriac puree. Finally, for dessert, guests can truly indulge themselves with a fresh blackberry dome.
