Tim Maddams, head chef and face of River Cottage, is Love Food's special guest at this year's Spring Festival 23rd and 24th March 2013 and will be sharing his views on this importance of ethically produced and sustainably sourced food.

He will be cooking up a storm in the demonstration kitchen and visitors will have the opportunity to sample some of his delicious culinary creations!

I am really excited about coming to the Love Food festival, its an exciting time for River Cottage, new Canteen opening and spring fully underway, I can't think of a better opportunity to connect with Bristol foodies than by supporting the Love Food Festival

He will be joined by some of the best chefs in the West with a stellar line up of culinaryTim Maddam talent appearing in the demonstration theatre including, amongst others; Emma Grazette of TV's 'Spice Trip' and local Michelin starred chefs Sam Moody and Josh Eggleton.

The festival boasts an exceptional market with over 70 of the regions finest producers coming together under the fantastic roof of 'Brunel's Old Station', you'll be amazed at the range of food on offer.

The Great Outdoors area will promote farming as a career and encourage local families to get out and enjoy the countryside.

Children will be in their element with a huge range of free activities including, cookery lessons, planting, storytelling, arts and crafts, a library and much more.

The range of street food on offer will certainly tempt the taste-buds with a melting pot of flavours from around the globe available at affordable prices.
