London Food and Drink Pop Up puts the Green back in Cuisine

An exciting combination of tastes and flavours will come to life through Global supper clubs, workshops, drink events and even a chocolate tapas bar.

Highlights for Urban Food Fortnight include an 'Urban Graze' supper club hosted by Chef and author Jay Morjaria, with most of the ingredients sourced within the M25 as well as 'One Pot Wonders' - a collaboration between Chef Jay and Growing Kultur with a workshop on how to create a mini herb themed pot followed by a demonstration on how to cook with the herbs.

For those with a sweet tooth Ubuntu Chocolate will be hosting a chocolate workshop consisting of a guided tasting of single origin and artisan chocolate recipes followed by making your own chocolate cocktail concoctions from a variety of liqueurs, spices and fresh fruit. In addition they will also be creating a choco tapas bar where a selection of delicious tapas dishes influences from around the globe will be infused with hints of chocolate served with some naughty chocolate cocktails and wine.

If you fancy yourself as a wine connoisseur then A Grape Night In will be producing their very own 'Vin Yard' - pouring a perfect selection of themed wines from the 'Garden' of your choice with matching small plates from Sutra Kitchen.

In keeping with the Garden theme, Kitchen Clinic will also run a Botanical Bar where attendees will be able to pick a herb of their choice for a mixologist to create drinks from.

World Brunch Club, known for their interesting take on new cuisine will be combining their backgrounds in music with their passion for food in order to serve up a mouth-watering Iraqi themed brunch accompanied by live music.

Not leaving out the more adventurous cooks, Tiffany Morris will be running a three-hour advanced gluten-free Mexican Cooking class. On the menu, gorditas with homemade queso fresco, tamales and chile chocolate truffles to finish.

Or get stuck in with Virtuous Bread who will be sharing their secret techniques for making the perfect loaf in a four hour bread making course as well as selling their baked goods.

To make an idea a reality is so rewarding, but to have such talented people, unique concepts and creativity all under one roof is truly amazing.
