Join the Rotary Club of Titsey and District for their 10th MoonRaker NightWalk Challenge
Fancy a lovely evening walk in wonderful countryside while doing some good at the same time?
If so, then you are invited to join the Rotary Club of Titsey & District for their 10th MoonRaker NightWalk Challenge on Saturday 23rd March 2013.
The event is held at the magnificent Chartwell, former home of Sir Winston Churchill, only two miles south of Westerham, Kent, off the A25.
Teams of between 4 - 8 walkers complete one of the six mile walks over beautiful National Trust countryside.
The walk starts in the early evening - first teams leave around 5.30pm - so most people will be walking in the dusk or even by the light of the new moon; hence the name 'MoonRaker'.
Walkers will be asked to follow one of two routes using printed instruction sheets, starting at five minute intervals.
You'll even receive light refreshments, and all you have to do is to raise money for one of the charities, which this year include Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, 1st Hurst Green Scouts and local Youth Organisations and Rotary Charities.
The routes are quite rural, and are not suitable for people with limited mobility or for children under 12 and dogs are welcome, so long as they are under control at all times.
