Britain's most iconic home event and winner of Consumer Show of the year 2010, the Ideal Home Show is back, for its 105th year, running from the 15th March - 1st April 2013, at London's Earls Court.

New for 2013 TV presenter Melinda Messenger is the ambassador of Ideal Woman, along with other celebrity ambassadors including TV presenter and architect George Clarke, gadget expert Suzi Perry, food critic Gregg Wallace, garden expert Alan Titchmarsh and interiors icon Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.

With seven dedicated show which include: the flagship ideal show Homes, ideal Home Improvements and dedicated kitchen & bathroom zone, ideal Interiors with the Ideal Home Magazine Roomsets, ideal Gardens sponsored by Hydropool, ideal Technology powered by Virgin Media, ideal Food & Housewares, as well as ideal Shopping and ideal Woman, this year's show will be the biggest and best to date.

There will be more live demonstrations and expert advice than the show has ever seen.

The ambassadors will also be taking on the brand new Ideal Super Theatre, a purpose-built stage which will host talks and demonstrations from celebrities and a whole host of other household names including Martin Lewis, Founder and Editor of Moneysavingexpert.com, making it the ultimate place to pick up the tips and tricks to improve your home.

The centre piece of this year’s show will once again see a series of three stunning Show Homes, built in Earls Court for visitors to explore.

For the fourth year running, this year's Ideal Home Show is inviting professional and amateur cake decorators from across the UK to show off their decorating skills by entering the 'ideal Cake Decorator of the Year' competition.

To mark 150 years of our most iconic transport system, and for its part in making the Ideal Home Show accessible to all of London and the UK, the show is calling upon all bakers and cake decorators out there to enter their 'London Underground Ideal Cake Decorator of the Year' Competition 2013.

There will also be a live stage performance that hosts half hourly demonstrations of the latest and most innovative technology and gadgets for the home. There's no need to book your seat as they are issued on a first come, first served basis.

Alan Titchmarsh will also be creating a brand new dedicated 'Love Your Garden' area, featuring traditional English Tea Rooms, and a purpose-built advice centre, offering expert advice from Alan, contributor Frances Tophill and garden experts who will be on hand offering tips and garden design inspiration in daily advice sessions.
