Supper Clubs are a new way of eating. Also know as 'pop up' restaurants or 'underground dining' they are part time restaurants, often held at people's house or venues normally not used as a restaurant.

A great way of fine dining locally as well as meeting some other like minded foodies!

Oxted Food & Drink Festival, together with local chef Mike Pitt, bring you a celebration of autumn with a taste of the seasons. Book now to experience nature at its best and indulge in the season's autumnal flavours. Taste the Seasons Supper Club - Saturday 18th October 2014 at 8pm - Merstham

Mike is from Oxted, passionate about cooking with seasonal ingredients, specialising in Supper Clubs and private dinner parties. He is often found out walking the dog and exploring local wild life - getting his inspiration for his amazing dishes.

A celebration of autumn, menu by local Chef Mike Pitt

Starter: Textures of beetroot
Roast boltardy, carpaccio & crisp of chiogga, bulls blood fluid gel, pickled baby beets, beetroot cake ,thyme jelly & Sussex slipcote ice cream

Main:
Liquorice smoked duck breast, duck leg croquette, celeriac puree, chantrelle mushrooms, blackberry jus

Dessert: A walk through the orchard
Caramelized apple gallete, apple jelly, apple foam, apple & rosehip sorbet, cobnut croquante

Followed by coffee & tea
