Steph's Allergy Friendly Kitchen
In our continued search for 'free from' products we revisit Stephanie Palmer to get an update on what is happening with Steph’s Free From Cakes and get invited in to Steph's Allergy Free Kitchen.
We caught up with Steph's cakes at the Allergy & Free From Show at Olympia and tested some of the cakes she had on offer.
Because the cakes are all free from wheat, gluten and dairy we could all sample the cakes on offer.
Firstly we taste tested Steph's Lemon Drizzle Cake. To say the lemon cake was divine is an understatement - this simply oozed lemon and had the most delicious lemon iced top that had us going back for more. 
Being that it is wheat, gluten and dairy free makes it a real bonus as we often miss out on a range of great products because of our varied intolerance.
We also sampled Steph's Chocolate Swiss Roll. Again wheat, gluten and dairy free.
Since a good Swiss roll is hard to make even without taking anything out, to make it this free from and still retain shape and moisture is a real challenge.
And we must say - a challenge Steph definitely rose too... this Swiss roll is divine!
It retains its moisture and shape and tastes as good as, if not better than any Swiss roll we have ever tasted!

I began baking a selection of 'free from' cakes as I suffer from several types of food intolerance and could not find suitable (or edible!) versions in shops. Despite 'special' ranges being available, many include one or more ingredients that I can't tolerate.
In my 'free from' range, all the ingredients I use are guaranteed wheat free, gluten free and dairy free, designed specifically for people like me, with allergies and a variety of food intolerances. All the items that I make have been homemade by me in a registered food preparation environment.
