Do you feel sluggish first thing? Do you struggle to get going? Do your energy levels and concentration dip mid-morning? Are you sometimes moody and irritable with colleagues and friends for no reason?

Then perhaps you are one of the many people that skip the most important meal of the day, breakfast.

But whatever your reason is, you can change this by Shaking Up Your Wake Up and finding time to refresh your morning routine.

Rebekah Fensome's top tip is to eat breakfast; it has a really positive impact on your mind and body. It will give you that ‘get up and go’ feeling and is good for your mood and concentration levels too.

Why not try some of Rebekah's other top tips to Shake Up Your Wake Up and she guarantees you will feel the benefits for hours.

Eating a balanced breakfast every day is not only a healthy choice but it will also give your mind and body the boost it needs to take on the day.Rebekah

Make time for breakfast and enjoy this ritual by teaming it up with a morning activity such as browsing the internet or talking to friends online.

Take a shower in some aromatic shower wash and splash on your favourite perfume or aftershave. This tells yourself that you’re preparing yourself in a loving way for your day ahead.

Put an upbeat song on full blast and have a dance to shake all your energy about and raise your spirits.

Travel a different way to work every morning or take the scenic route. The change of scenery will keep you on the ball as well as shaking up your routine.

Start the day by looking in the mirror and telling yourself you look great!

There are many breakfasts to choose from to Shake Up Your Wake Up.

Here are a few of Rebekah's favourite ways to start the day:

Muffins or cereal bars are ideal to eat on the go, you can munch on wholegrain toast while getting the kids ready for school, or tuck into a bowl of porridge or cereal at your desk.

Remember, whoever you are and whatever the day has in store, there is a quick and easy healthy breakfast for you to start the day the right way.
