Based in London, Nana caters for a wide variety of diets and free-from needs, with baked goods and food that is all handmade at home.

We caught up with Nana at The Cake and Bake Show at Earls Court and asked her what got her started in the free-from cake baking business.
I started baking free-from cakes and treats because one of my cousins has severe allergy to eggs. The first vegan cake I baked was a chocolate cake with chocolate glazing. This cake is very popular when I do the community market in my area.
I started my business by chance really. I went to a café with a friend and I asked the manager if she will be interested in trying some of my cakes. She said to bring in some samples but it took me about four months to finally feel confident enough to take the cakes.
I started baking my carrot cake for the café, then began to go round other cafés. I wanted to bake free-form cakes because I realised most of the cakes out there were not that great and there was not a whole variety available.
