Chocoholics Delight as the Countdown to Chocolate Week 2013 Begins

Chocolate Week dedicates a whole seven days to the love of chocolate and chocolatiers - giving us the chance to sample some of the world's best chocolates and discover emerging producers from all over the world.

Last year at Chocolate Unwrapped Laudens captured our taste buds with their zingy lemon and punchy passion fruit chocolate works of art, Friis-Holm introduced us to their Triple Turned Chuno 70% and we discovered Chocolate Ecstasy Tours, the perfect experience for any chocoholic.

A taste of things to come...

From the 14th - 19th October, (6am - 1pm) My Coffee Stop, an independent, ethical and community-minded coffee and health food shop based on Platform 1 at Enfield Chase Station will be baking gluten and dairy free Divine brownies and muffins which customers can try for free all week. And Smartphone users will also be given a QR code to scan so they can take home the secret brownie recipe.

iQ are holding a chocolate tasting at Whole Foods Glasgow on the 19th of October between 11am and 3pm.

Chocolate Making really is the simplest of tasks and York invites everyone to have a go at creating their own beautiful chocolates, while having a chocolate treat or a coffee in their Cocoa House.

So this year, from the 14th - 20th October, we recommend you take a look at the amazing line-up of events running for Chocolate Week 2013 at www.chocolateweek.co.uk

The grand finale of the week has to be Salun du Chocolat, London (18th - 20th) - the best chocolatiers and chocolate companies in the UK will exhibit at Olympia and be joined by exhibitors from all around the world. Discover new chocolates and blends, exciting flavours and award winning bars. Visit www.salonduchocolat.co.uk for more information.
