This week has already seen the start of Grand Designs Live, running from the 30th April to the 8th May 2011 at the ExCeL Centre in London’s Docklands. Back for its seventh consecutive year, Grand Designs Live is a one stop shop for inspiration, new innovations and FREE expert advice.
The inaugural Tea & Coffee Festival is gathering momentum as the event approaches. With an ever-growing schedule of fascinating demonstrations and exhibitors the festival is guaranteed to perk up your weekend. Open from 11am - 8pm daily (6pm on Sunday) with FREE admission. Head down to Southbank Centre Square from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th May 2011 to see and learn a myriad of new and exciting things based around the nation’s favourite beverages...
The Real Food Festival is taking place from the 5th to the 8th May 2011. This is a celebration of extraordinary food and drink that has been
sustainably and ethically produced. Held each May at Earls Court, the Real Food Festival gives visitors the chance to see, smell, taste and buy the most wonderful food directly from the producers who make it, as well as learn from experts and professionals about the food they eat.
The Allergy & Gluten Free Show is taking place at London's Olympia from the 6th to 8th May 2011 and represents the UK's largest annual gathering of people with allergies, intolerances, auto-immune diseases and chemical sensitivities; as well as the health professionals that treat them.
If you can't get out and about but still want to join in - why not encourage family and friends to take part in the Gluten-free Challenge. This year Coeliac UK’s Awareness Week (16th - 22nd May 2011) focuses on the gluten-free diet by getting people involved and helping them to understand what it is like to live with coeliac disease.
