The Duck Egg Blue Design Company owner, Claire Medhurst, is giving readers the chance to win her beautiful Robin print.
This fabulous piece, entitled 'Bob Bobbin' Along' is mixed media on Calico fabric. The piece is finished in an off white mount set in a plain white box frame. The total frame size is 10" x 10" with an aperture of 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". It is created using Lino printing, free hand fabric painting, crochet, needle felt and embroidery.
"I am a regular mum living in the beautiful Surrey Hills, where, without sounding like a cliché, I love baking, growing my own vegetables, walking my dog and keeping house! But put me in front of some craft materials and I'm in my element.
I am from a retail background mainly but have always been creative. I take every opportunity to make something pretty out of all sorts of odds and ends,.and I'm a magpie when it comes to fluff, fabric, buttons and ribbons. It is only recently after some lovely comments that I have realised I would like to turn what has been a hobby into a business.
This Robin is one of my favourite and a very popular piece to date."
