Hopeful chefs, scriptwriters and artists are invited to apply for one of three career defining collaborations with the celebrity mentors, as part of British Airways' commitment to the London 2012 Games, as official airline partner.

The successful winners will receive one-on-one mentoring from their celebrity expert, which will culminate in an opportunity to demonstrate their talent on British Airways flights in the run up to the London 2012 Games.

Taking inspiration from Michelin-star restaurant owner and chef Heston Blumenthal, the winner of the food category will produce a bold British menu served to millions of customers on board British Airways flights around the Games.

"I thrive on creativity and developing new and exciting dishes, and I’m looking to find someone who shares this enthusiasm. Together we will showcase British cuisine at its best and at 35,000ft! BA Great Britons food mentor, Heston Blumenthal.

The winner in the film category will receive mentoring from esteemed actor, scriptwriter and director Richard E Grant, to write a short film.

The final production will be broadcast to millions of customers on board British Airways flights in the run up to the Games, and showcased at the pre-show to the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.

This is a massive and unique opportunity to create a piece of film that will be seen by literally millions of people. I'm looking forward to discovering and working with a true talent to bring their idea to life. BA Great Britons film mentor, Richard E Grant.

Finally, in the art category, Turner Prize nominated artist and Royal Academician Tracey Emin will mentor the winner. With Tracey's support, the protégée will produce an iconic piece of artwork for the livery of 12 British Airways aircraft, flying millions of guests and teams in and out of London in the run up to the 2012 Games.

I'm very excited to be an Art Ambassador for British Airways. It's a brilliant opportunity to fly the flag and show the rest of the world how truly amazing British art can be. BA Great Britons art mentor, Tracey Emin.
